walnuts in olive oil on medium heat for around 5
minutes. Cover with
lid to keep oil slightly inside.
Add apple slices, sugar, and sprinkle with
as desired. Tossing occasionally until apples are
soft and golden
brown. On average an additional 7-8
minutes. Do this at a low heat not to
walnuts. Let apple slices cool slightly and load up
the small pie
cakes. Top with whip cream. May be
served right away, or chill if it is to be
later. Is also great to be pared with a small amount
of vanilla ice cream on the side as desired.
